How to Clean and Maintain Your Modular Kitchen
A modular kitchen is a serious investment — and with a few simple habits it will look brand new for years. Here is our practical, no-fuss guide to keeping your kitchen spotless and working smoothly.
Daily habits
Wipe down countertops and shutters with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution after cooking. Clean spills promptly, especially oil and turmeric, so they do not stain. Keep the area around the sink and hob dry to protect edges and joints.

What to avoid
Skip abrasive scrubbers, scouring powders and harsh chemical cleaners — they can dull finishes and scratch acrylic. Never let water pool on surfaces or seep into joints, and avoid hanging heavy, wet cloths on shutter edges.
Caring for different finishes
Acrylic: wipe gently to remove fingerprints; use a microfibre cloth. Laminate: very forgiving — mild soap and water is enough. PU/membrane: avoid abrasives and use soft cloths. Counters: seal granite periodically; wipe quartz with mild cleaner.
Look after the hardware
Soft-close hinges and channels rarely need attention, but a light wipe and the occasional drop of lubricant on tracks keeps everything gliding. Check and tighten handles once in a while.
Keep it organised
Use your pull-outs, organisers and tall units as intended — an organised kitchen is easier to clean and puts less strain on shutters and shelves.
